Passengers with reduced mobility

Depending on your condition, we may ask you to provide us with a medical clearance issued by your physician at the time of travel, certifying that you are fit to travel by air.
We recommend that you contact your physician before traveling by air.
Unaccompanied Minors
Unaccompanied Minors (UM) are children over 5 and under 12 years of age on the date of travel, traveling alone and unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Children under 5 years old on the day of the flight are not eligible for the unaccompanied child service. Children under 5 years old on the day of the flight may travel alone provided they are accompanied by a person aged 18 or over who can take care of the child, or by an additional crew member. The request for an additional crew member must be made no later than 48 hours before the flight date.
Passengers accompanying minors must be seated in the same cabin as the minor. The escort service for children traveling alone, aged over 5 and under 12, may be provided subject to the carrier's prior agreement, preferably at the time of ticket reservation and no later than 48 hours before the date of travel, payment of a supplement and if the following conditions are met:
- The child is accompanied to the check-in counter by a parent or guardian with whom they remain at the airport until boarding and take-off.
- The child must be met at the destination by another parent or adult whose identity must be specified to Tunisair so that the child can be handed over safely.
A waiver of responsibility signed by the parents must be handed in at the departure station, specifying the name, address, and telephone number of the person taking charge of the child on arrival.
Pregnant women
Pregnant women are accepted up to the sixth month of pregnancy without any requirements. Between the seventh and eighth months of pregnancy, they must provide a medical clearance signed by their gynecologist (specifying flight numbers, travel dates, estimated date of delivery, stage of pregnancy, health status, and certifying the absence of any risk of premature delivery due to altitude or complications). This certificate must be issued no more than seven days before the flight date. Ninth-month pregnant women are not allowed to fly.
Passenger with baby
A baby is any passenger under 2 years old at the start of the journey. Each baby must be accompanied by a parent or an independent adult aged 18 or over. However, the accompanying adult may be under 18 if it is the mother or father. If a passenger is traveling with two babies, a second companion fulfilling the same conditions is required, or an additional crew member.
- The request for an additional crew member must be made no later than 48 hours before the flight date. Newborn babies traveling within seven days of birth must carry a signed medical certificate.
- Women traveling within seven days of giving birth must carry a signed medical certificate.
