TUNISAIR and Etihad Airways sign a codeshare agreement
Today, Friday, January 16, 2026, Ms. Halima Ibrahim Khouaja, in charge of TUNISAIR’s Executive Management and the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, Mr. Antonoaldo Neves, signed a commercial codeshare agreement.
This partnership forms part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two airlines and aims to enhance the travel experience and promote tourism between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
As of today, passengers will be able to book flights between Tunis and Abu Dhabi under the code of either airline on services operated by Etihad Airways. This agreement is designed to offer a seamless and simplified travel experience, with a single ticket, one check-in process, and automatic through-checking of baggage to the final destination.
Through this partnership, TUNISAIR enhances the accessibility of its network to the Gulf region, a high-potential market, while offering its passengers new onward connection opportunities to Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. This collaboration reflects a shared vision to foster economic, tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two regions.
