In November 1991 Tunisair was transferred to its present head office, boulevard du 7 novembre 1987, in the vicinity of "Tunis-Carthage airport".
In 1992, the first Tunisair's subsidiary ,Tuninter ( Sevenair since 2007),was created to operate domestic and regional flights.
1995 was marked by the State's launching a public tender for the stake sale of 20% of the capital of Tunisair.
In the same year, a new business class "Espace Privilège", was also created and the frequent flyer loyalty scheme "Fidelys" was launched.
In 1997, the record figure of 3 million passengers carried in a single year was reached. The passengers load factor broke the record of 77.1 %, while the company was in competition with 22 foreign flag-carriers and with more than 80 foreign charter carriers. In 1993, new routes to West European destinations were launched, namely Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Bratislava, , Moscow, Lisbon, Beirut and Stockholm.
